Hydro Flask 40 oz Travel Tumbler

Founder's Pick. Round one, solo tested, headed for the full panel.

Having ADHD seems to be a contraindication to being hydrated somehow. It's not that I don't like drinking water, it's that I need it to be as easy as possible, because switching tasks for me is like pulling teeth. Once I've zoned in, I will forget to water myself. So I started with one of these cups. One should be all a normal person needs. They're well made and should last ages. But I've formed a sort of bond with this bottle. I now only want drinks if they're out of a very few favourite vessels, and this one has top tier elite status. So much so that I now have them scattered all over the house, and for the first time in my life, I'm hitting my hydration goals.

I also bought the silicone boot, because I am, no exaggeration, the clumsiest person currently alive, and I've dented enough bottles to know exactly how that story ends. One wobble and you stop trusting it. Then you stop using it.

What earned it: It holds over a litre, fits in a cup holder, and it's easy to wash, with no hard to reach places.

Who it's for: Anyone who forgets to drink water the moment they get absorbed in something.
